Sushi Laguna in Laguna Beach

Its always extra consistent . Very fresh. Very clean. Chefs are extremely professional along with loving, friendly and funny! Been enjoying the food here for maaaaany years. Best sushi in laguna.

The most freshest sushi I've ever experienced! Exceptional service and traditional Japanese style. I recommend the King Kong roll! I know, how appropriate right? Lol so delicious and fresh for all levels of sushi lovers

If I could eat ice cream for the rest of my life this would be the place. Their ice cream is to die forrrr, sure it looks boujee but it's soooooooo sooooo good, I especially love their sun moon and stars, flavors are very unique and they deck it out, it's definitely a Instagram place and I can't tell you how much you gotta try this place

Fresh and delicious! Great selection of rolls. Had Salmon Mango and Erin - both were fantastic. Service was very friendly as well.Can't wait to come back!

Fast, cheap and fresh sushi

The sushi is fantastic and the GARLIC RICE is delicious.

Interesting options for sushi and fresh sea food. Parking is easy to find a few steps away. Owner is very professional and attentive to details.

We had an extraordinary in this restaurant. We loved the great environment and the menu. The waiters are super welcoming. I’m glad we ultimately decided to try this restaurant.

I really enjoyed my first experience at Sushi Laguna. They had a great selection of rolls and was decently priced. The crunchy roll and the soul fighter rolls were tasty. Really nice staff and the chefs seemed very cool. My one negative was I ordered the Tekka Maki tuna cut roll, it was very small, like half the size of what I'm used to.

Hands-down the best sushi I’ve ever had in a long time they also have keto options which I’ve been on keto for over a year so it’s kind a hard to find sushi keto options with no rice which is amazing besides sashimi. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful the service was amazing the atmosphere here was cool they have outside and indoor seating.

I constantly stop by getting some food in this place. I like the rapid service and well made food. Keep it up.

Came here for lunch today and saw that they had a sign outside for $1 oysters! Score!Upon entering my Gf inquired about what type of oysters they had for $1. The kind waitress said it was the big ones. The Gf didn't want those and asked about other oysters. She said the small oysters were 50% off which comes out to $1.65 per one. We got half dozen to start.

The sushi chef was so friendly and welcoming, actually the whole staff was super pleasant. The uni and toro was delicious and their rolls were made with great sushi rice and quality fish. First time here even though I lived here my whole life, hidden gem. I will be back!

Great, fresh sushi but the server forgot an item on the order. He did make up for it by taking the item off the bill. All in all, excellent!

Amazing quality fish! Definitely worth the price. Good service and nice atmosphere. Really enjoyed the rolls I got, especially the salmon lemon roll. Tasted so great!

I call this unique place every couple of days because I like the special air that is part of this restaurant. The crew is very helpful and qualified. The service is impressively efficient. Also, the food they prepare is great. I visited often and I was always joyful. The price is modest. I recommend this place to to everybody.

The service was okay but the time it took to boring two plates of sushi took 20 minutes!!!!!!!! It drove me insane I was going to just leave

I couldn’t decide what Pinot Grio I wanted and our server brought out taste portions. A short walk from the beach, tasty, attentive staff, enclosed outdoor seating.

Really great sushi. Nice atmosphere. Had the "Black Widow Roll" and it was amazing. Also had the "Blue Crab Hand Roll" and house salad. Both very good. Husband's seaweed salad was nice too. We will definitely be returning. $5 small hot sake? Amazing. Will. Be. Back.

Great food!! And service

I had the Makenna roll -- spicy tuna and avocado bottom, albacore and jalapeño sauce on top. Super good. I just had the one roll. It was like a savory dessert, since I had a huge lunch right before.

Been coming here for years! Great quality fish, prompt service, and very personable sushi chefs! They allow dogs in patio, which many restaurants around main street Laguna don't do. I've tried every sushi place in Laguna, and this is definitely the best!

I visit this nice place a lot! This is my favorite restaurant to eat. I visit this place at least once a month. The cooking is of high quality, the team is friendly and the charge is affordable. I like being in this place to have a good lunch.

The service here is friendly and on time. However, the food is severely lacking in authenticity. We did not try the sushi. But all other cooked hot items we ordered including ramen, fried rice, udon were all over cooked and either too salty or not salty enough. Maybe they have a new cook in training around lunch time. But probably won’t attempt another try to find out for sure.

I normally don’t write reviews for places unless I had an incredibly good or bad experience.This was sadly the latter.I got the ramen, shrimp tempuras, and a spicy tuna roll, and everything did not taste good at all. The tuna itself was mushy. The tempura batter had this bizarre flavour. The ramen did not smell appealing.This was around $30. That much, for such poor quality. I couldn’t even finish half of it. Immediately got the bill, paid, and left. The reviews here got me to go, and I honestly cannot figure out why.Be wary of this place.

I wish I could give 0 stars. This was the absolute worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Terrible, unfriendly, and inattentive service. We sat down, got our water, then didn't see our waitress for the next 25 minutes even though there was less than 10 people in the place. Upon ordering, I asked the waitress the difference between two rolls... she responded with "I don't know". I ordered two rolls and got the first one in about 10 minutes. I ate it and waited the better part of the next 30 minutes waiting for my second roll... it never came. We even saw a couple sit down after we ordered and receive 4 rolls before I received my second roll. I'm assuming they just completely forgot about my order... Instead of waiting any longer I just asked for the check and left. Needless to say, I will NOT be coming back.

The meals and service were ahead of my expectations. We really liked the ambience of this place. First-rate spot to take the family out for lunch.

Got the Godzilla and Love rolls. Both were excellent. So many more I wanted to try for next time!

One of the best sushi restaurants I've been to. Chefs are engaging and create amazing flavors in their rolls.

A delightful meal. Mr. Samson and his crew were very friendly and personable. Flavorful Shu Mai, a smooth, hot Sho Chiku Bai sake, and a powerful Sidewinder roll made my (likely one and only) visit to Laguna Beach that much more enjoyable. Domo Arigato.

I thought their sushi rolls were pretty good. Hand rolls not so much. Service was exceptional. Be prepared to pay a lot of money for very little food.

Best sushi in town. Gustavo and Oscar are serious pros and a fun time, it’s all about a great sushi chef. Always fresh. Sadly prices have been on the rise over the years... but lunch specials will save you and either way it’s still worth it

If you like sushi this is the location to go to. Their fish is always fresh, no smelly fish food here! They are also so good with all types of allergies. Seriously the best, I only eat at this sushi location and so should you. This picture is of a cucumber wrap with shrimp.

This place has good service and delicious sushi! They even give you nice-smelling hot towels to clean your hands!

Love this place

The sushi is very day before and the service was horrible. Very loud and white honestly I was blown with the level of service we received from the business. I was amazed the waitress was sub par. She wasn't on top of getting our orders. They kept yelling really loudly. I would rather here claws on a chalkboard. Thanks but NO THANKS Sushi Laguna.
